Jo Ann Adiele has been a Nurse since 1983 and has spent more than three decades owning and operating Hiljay Homes Adult Family Home. Her career has centered on caring for seniors and vulnerable adults, with a strong focus on memory care, end-of-life care, and preserving dignity and quality of life.

Jo Ann is also the founder of Caring Adult Family Homes of the North Sound, bringing providers together to educate, advocate, and give Adult Family Homes a stronger voice. She is passionate about practical solutions, provider accountability, and making sure decisions affecting long-term care include the people actually providing that care.

Above all, Jo Ann remains a nurse, a provider, and an advocate who believes the people we care for—and the people caring for them—deserve a seat at the table.
