Purity Karanja is a dedicated Adult Family Home provider, entrepreneur, mentor, and community leader. A Certified Nursing Assistant for more than 12 years, she relocated to Spokane, Washington, in 2007 and opened her Adult Family Home in February 2008, fulfilling her passion for providing compassionate, personalized care.

Today, Purity is the proud CEO and owner of Purity’s Calico Cottage AFH, where she continues to serve vulnerable adults with dignity, respect, and compassion. With nearly two decades of experience in the AFH industry, she is well versed in Washington State Adult Family Home WAC requirements and has consistently adapted to evolving regulations and standards of care. She has built strong professional relationships and a positive rapport with fellow AFH providers, licensing staff, and inspectors. Purity has also mentored numerous AFH providers and remains actively engaged in community service, frequently taking leadership roles in initiatives that strengthen and support the community.
