Christopher Odinde is an entrepreneur, financial educator, real estate investor, author, and business leader committed to advancing financial literacy, expanding homeownership, and helping individuals and families build generational wealth through strategic investing. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chris Capital, a real estate investment company dedicated to creating sustainable value for investors while strengthening the communities it serves.
Born in Kenya, Christopher studied Electronics Communication at the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton. Early in his career, he relocated to Southern Africa, where he founded and led a successful technology company specializing in systems development, information technology, and cloud computing solutions. Working with both private-sector organizations and public institutions, he developed extensive experience in business strategy, technology innovation, and organizational leadership.
Alongside his technology career, Christopher cultivated a passion for real estate investing and entrepreneurship, recognizing property ownership and disciplined investment as powerful tools for creating long-term financial security. His entrepreneurial journey eventually brought him to the United States, where he expanded his work in real estate investment, financial education, and business development.
Through years of working with first-time homebuyers, real estate investors, entrepreneurs, and families, Christopher observed that financial struggles are often caused not by a lack of ambition or hard work, but by limited access to practical financial education. That realization became the foundation of his professional mission: empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed financial decisions and achieve lasting economic independence.
Today, Christopher is widely recognized as an advocate for financial empowerment. Through public speaking, educational initiatives, professional consulting, and his published works, he helps individuals understand the fundamentals of America’s financial system, including credit management, leverage, real estate investing, business ownership, and long-term wealth-building strategies. His ability to simplify complex financial concepts into practical, actionable guidance has enabled many aspiring homeowners, entrepreneurs, and investors to pursue financial stability and generational prosperity.
As an author and educator, Christopher believes that financial literacy is one of the most effective pathways to economic opportunity. His vision extends beyond individual success to building institutions, businesses, and investment platforms that create opportunity, preserve wealth across generations, and contribute meaningfully to stronger communities.
Christopher also serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Association of Adult Family Home Providers (WAFHA), where he brings valuable expertise in financial management, strategic planning, business development, and organizational growth. His experience in entrepreneurship, investment, and leadership supports WAFHA’s mission of strengthening Washington’s Adult Family Home industry through education, advocacy, professional excellence, and sustainable organizational development.
A devoted husband to his wife, Winnie, and a proud father to their three children, Geen, Zothani, and Asante, Christopher believes that strong families are the foundation of strong communities. His leadership is grounded in integrity, stewardship, continuous learning, and service. Whether advising clients, mentoring entrepreneurs, investing in communities, or serving nonprofit organizations, Christopher remains committed to helping others transform financial knowledge into financial freedom while building a lasting legacy for future generations.
