Jessica Yaeger is the Founder and President of Compass Care, a senior care advisory and advocacy firm dedicated to helping older adults and their families navigate the complexities of long-term care throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho. With more than three decades of healthcare leadership and senior care experience, Jessica has built a reputation as a trusted advocate, compassionate leader, and respected resource for families facing critical care decisions.

Throughout her career, Jessica has held leadership positions across a broad spectrum of healthcare settings, including assisted living, memory care, hospice, home health, hospitals, surgical services, ophthalmology, and radiology. Her extensive knowledge of the continuum of care enables her to provide comprehensive guidance tailored to the unique needs of seniors and their families.

Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Washington State University and is a licensed Assisted Living Administrator in the State of Washington. She is also a certified Washington State instructor specializing in dementia care and mental health, equipping caregivers and healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.

As the leader of Compass Care, Jessica provides personalized senior living placement, care management, family advocacy, and long-term care consulting. She is recognized for her hands-on approach, ensuring that clients receive expert guidance and compassionate support throughout every stage of the transition process.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jessica proudly serves as a Spokane Valley City Councilmember, where she is committed to strengthening her community through thoughtful leadership, public service, and advocacy for older adults, families, and vulnerable populations.
Jessica brings to the Washington Association of Adult Family Home Providers (WAFHA) an exceptional combination of healthcare expertise, public service, and strategic leadership. As a member of the Board of Directors, she is dedicated to advancing WAFHA’s mission of promoting excellence, strengthening the Adult Family Home profession, and advocating for policies that improve the quality of care and support for providers and the individuals they serve throughout Washington State.
